2. Check approvals — if you used a dapp once, revoke unlimited approvals later. It’s boring but it saves wallets.
3. Start with tiny amounts — first transaction is just a “systems check”: address, network, fees, and behavior.
4. Watch the contract, not the hype — read the basic info (owner, upgradeability, taxes/blacklists). If it’s unclear, skip.
5. Exit plan first — decide your max loss and profit target before you click “swap”.
